Pls send help – the zucchini are taking over.
They are leaving the garden, and they don’t care that they are growing in the rocks.
They are taking over. Completely. They don’t care what they crowd out. And I am running out of neighbour front porches to hide the zucchini on. Why just this evening my amazing neighbour went running past with her dog. She cringed when I said hello. Surely they couldn’t have told her already about the spate of zucchini-ings lately. Surely not.
See, it is even fraternizing with the carrots. It’s already ditched the lettuce. And in a Christian home. Call the preacher. Call the weed eater. Call someone!
Ahh, finally – something that is not growing out of control, Christie’s rose, in Gabriel’s garden. It’s a foxi pavement rose. It’s hot pink. Christie likes pink.
Lol! You’ll be enjoying a lot of zucchini this summer! 🙂
Thanks for trying Mrs. Spit, you’re the best. 🙂 That did make me feel a little better, that hopefully at least some of this is due to bloating. 🙂
oh no, not the zucchini!!!
keep Delta AWAY!!! 🙂
Nice flower… where are the blooms? There were blooms when I last saw it….
I wanted to make a recipe with zucchini the other day. You are going to be zucchini-ed out by the end of the summer. What are you going to do with all those veggies?
Beautiful garden statue, by the way. Beautiful.
Do you prune zucchini at all? I’ve been cutting mine back, in order that the pumpkins get *some* sun. But they’re still taking over.
I HATE zucchini!
I’ve long wondered if the homeless shelters or food bank will take excess produce? That might save you from the wrath of your neighbours.
Oh please Mrs. Spit – may I have some of your zucchini? :0)
I love it when my neighbors with the green thumbs leave their garden excess on my front stoop!
I love the statue – it is right up there with free zucchini, better even!
Can I tell you something silly? One of our pumpkins from Halloween the year before last got left by the side of the front stoop, knocked off into the flower bed. It grew. I had a pumpkin vine snaking down the front walkway. We were ever so hopeful. Our hopes were squashed – nary a bud. We remain gourdless.
Your garden grows fabulously Mrs. Spit!
That zucchini just has no regard for personal space!! It makes my skin crawl!!
LOL!! My FIL planted a couple of zucchini plants for us a few years back. We were totally zucchini-d out by the end of the summer. I swear one of them was as big as my arm.
Dh & I like to saute chopped zucchini with a little garlic & olive oil, & serve it with pasta & parmesan cheese.
Hehe, call the villagers! Pitchforks and torches stat! Maybe next year I’ll plant some zucchini right in the middle of the weediest part of our lot and watch it take over…
That sculpture is lovely by the way.
haha, that is one trampy zucchini!
I love the statue in the Garden.
