If you could

Jen is organizing a team to walk in the March for Babies, in memory of Gabriel. This is such an unexpectedly kind thing. It is an amazing thing to realize that you are not the only one who remembers your baby, that you are not the only person who wants to make sure that no more babies die from a 2000 year old disease.

It is too late for Gabriel and I, but not too late for the women and babies ahead of us. March for Dimes does such good work for so many families. The end to perinatal death is in our sight, and March for Dimes is one of the groups working hard to make that happen.

If you are willing and able, Jen has an online donation site set up here.

Just a general thought – not particular to you or anyone – but when I see the photos of the nuclear techs running the Geiger counters across little babies in Japan, I can’t imagine what is going through those poor mothers’ minds, or the horror pregnant women in the affected areas must be experiencing. March of Dimes thankfully is able to help a lot of families and babies with some conditions we have some knowledge on how to prevent or alleviate. (Eg., folic acid supplements for pregnant women, etc.) Do what you can for families here and pray for the ones in Japan who are at the mercy of fate.
