At about noon PST I put down the phone, logged out of the browser, leaned back in my chair and exhaled.
The webinar went well. About 450 people registered, about 200 people listened live, and I received the kindest of notes from friends, from colleagues and from complete strangers. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive.
I am proud of myself. I am proud of myself because I think I did a good job presenting interesting information, and because when people told me I did a good job, I simply said thank you.
When people asked how it went, I said that I thought it went well.
If you were wondering what speaking to 200 people looked like, here’s me, finishing up answering questions. That’s a lot of speaking notes slid onto the floor when I finished with them.
