And Today is my Friday

I was writing my to do list on Wednesday night, figuring out what I had to do to finish out the week.

I had the unpleasant realization that Friday will be spent in a car, driving to BC, to watch a niece graduate.

(and if you want an example of how I love my nieces and nephews, I will drive for 16 hours, to watch a niece graduate. The process of her graduating will take approximately 3 minutes for her to cross the stage, shake some hands, get her diploma and cross the stage again. That’s love)

I’ll be off working like a busy little beaver.

16 hours! If we drove for 16 hours, we’d almost be able to drive from the top of the North Island to the bottom of the South, covering the entire country. Not quite (as there’s a three hour ferry ride in the middle). But close! Yes, that’s love.

…and I’ll bet it is not unrequited. 🙂
